Paparazzi is a cute Italian café / restaurant a few minutes walk from my hotel. It has delicious, made to order food, generous portions and great staff.
After taking my order the waiter brought over my vino rosso and some starters.
I am not normally an olive person but these are the best I have ever tasted. I’m not sure how they’re spiced and prepared but they are absolutely delicious and go well with wine and beer.
One thing I’ve been missing from my diet have been vegetables so I decided to start with a salad: Insalata con Tonno (salad with tuna). When it was ready and brought to my table I immediately regretted ordering a main course as well.
It is large enough to be a meal itself! The vegetables were fresh, crisp and the dressing absolutely fantastic! The tuna brought it all together to make what is probably one of the most delicious salads I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Once I was full from the salad, my main course arrived: Pizza Stagioni.
Topped with ham, mushrooms, salami, roasted red pepper and cheese on top of a thin, freshly baked crust. It tasted fresh and delicious. The pizza was about 12” in diameter and proved to be way too much for me to finish after the gigantic salad I started with. Since it was an Italian restaurant, I couldn’t leave without enjoying some Limoncello.
