I was walking to lunch with a friend of mine on Thursday and noticed a lot of people in the main foyer of our lab today. These were the new co-op/internship students beginning their IBM adventure.

A year ago I was one of them. I came in to the lab, picked up the temporary badge and went to amphitheater for a full day of people talking to us about things we had not even a clue about just yet. Then we went to have our ID pictures taken and take a tour of the whole lab.

It was a pretty boring first day and the next day wasn’t too much better, at least not in the morning. Once the afternoon came I was shown to my office and the work began. It has been a fun ride since then. I’ve done a lot and I’ve learned a whole lot more professionally and personally.

Best of luck to the n00bz0rs! Welcome to the team!
