My girlfriend and I went to the Canadian Aviation Expo when it was in Hamilton a couple of weeks ago and we went on a 20 minute local flight in a Cessna 172 (my first ever in a Cessna) offered by the Brampton Flying Club. Taxiing to the active runway (24) via taxiway C and H, nostalgia came over me as I remembered the many times I had taxied this way, including my first solo. As we flew over the city and turned back to land, I was presented with a familiar sight:

In case you can’t see it, we’re on approach to runway 24, where I practiced many a touch and go. Here’s a video of the rest of the landing for your viewing pleasure.

It was Sara’s fist time in a small aircraft and I think she handled it very well.
