I sported a goatee for about two years and I always had to be careful when shaving the rest of my face. I times I shaved too much on one side and had to even out the other side and it just didn’t look that good. A GoateeSaver would have come in handy then.

PopSci.com reports on an intriguing occurrence “down undah.” It seems an 81 year-old man built and used a robot to commit suicide. The article in The Gold Coast Bulletin mentions that the machine was remotely controlled and attached to a .22 semi-automatic pistol. The man set it up in his driveway and it shot him in the head. There is also a video report.
This is a tragic incident for all involved. Though it begs the question: If he had changed his mind at the last minute, would the machine have listened?
