…in a year.
I have to admit I am somewhat jealous of all of my friends returning to school this fall. I must admit that I will miss classes and learning … stuff. Mostly I will miss the companionship. Walking (by the end of the term zombie-like) from class to class, trying to fit in a WillyDog on the way, discussing what we understood from the class, projects and when we would like to do them (because we all know the night before is devoted to finishing them).
Shooting the breeze…I mean studying…in the IEEE office will definitely be missed. The peaceful sanctuary where so many jokes have been born is a haven of knowledge. Nothing you’d put on a test of course, but nevertheless.
Because I miss school I’ve planned to go through one of my courses which I will be taking upon my return. I figure it can’t hurt to go through the book, make sure I understand the chapters and stuff in time for school. Might even give me an advantage the next time around.
Anyway, I will be out of the country from Aug 24 – Sept 7 so I’ll be pretty much incomunicado. I’m hoping to resume blogging afterwards and maybe even make it more of a weekly thing rather than random.

The true test of knowledge is real life, my friend. There, you’ll find the IEEE stuff matters more
