Details are coming in but it seems an Airbus A320 hit a flock of birds and performed an emergency landing in the frigid Hudson River after take off from LaGuardia airport. All passengers and crew are safe and were rescued by boats.

I remember how chaotic practicing forced approaches was over ground when I knew they were coming, I can’t imagine what those pilots had to do to get this big bird down. Glad to hear everyone is safe.
Could have done without the 9/11 reference though. I hate sensationalists.
