I don’t quite have time for a full blog post (Thanks, engineering degree!) but here are some interesting stories I’ve been reading:
- Here to there: 787 pre-first flight milestones explained
- Best of the web: Learning to fly
- WikiHow: Aviation category (for fun only)
- Huge Helicopters
- World’s Biggest Airplanes
- Chernobyl as it is today (a lot of pictures but definitely worth a look)
- General Aviation Heroes Part I – Clyde Cessna
- General Aviation Heroes Part II – Flight Instructors
On a non-aviation related side note, I will be taking part in Problogger’s 31 Days to Build a Better Blog challenge which starts next week so you may see quite a bit more activity on this blog than you are used to.
Enjoy the links!

Hi Dan,
thanks a lot for the mention and the link. I’m sure that it will encourage Julien – this was his first post in plasticpilot.net.
Good luck with your degree…
